The RF Explorer 3G Combo is a handheld digital spectrum analyzer. The 3G Combo model covers from 15 – 2700 MHz. It will cover all cell phone, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz WiFi bands.
The RF Explorer brand of handheld digital spectrum analyzers is a very affordable RF tool. Because the 3G Combo is a such a great tool, it is perfect for measuring RF spectrum the most popular frequency bands. This affordable device is convenient and compact without sacrificing performance. Because of it’s low power consumption, it can run 16+ hours on a single charge of the internal Lithium-ion polymer battery. Therefore, it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Also, you can gain additional functionality by connecting it to the USB port of a PC.
This model includes the 1G base unit and a 3G expansion module. It has two SMA connectors for attaching the following two included antennas:
- Nagoya NA-773 wide-band telescopic antenna for all Sub-GHz frequencies
- Whip helical antenna for the 2.4GHz band
